I need some help recruiting here. I havent been here all that long. If any in this can give me a hand asking some teams they know of, that would be awesome.

well, you and I played enough at one point to have been considered semi established. I actually assumed you played with someone enough now to be established...

It would be awesome if a dubs player like yourself could find another experienced player and join. Wouldnt be the same without you really. Its a pretty small community of experienced players. I really hope all with experience will join in for the fun.

Jeymo and bstew both have pretty good dubs chops, so either would work as a second for one of the people in here looking for a partner. Might want to reach out to keyborn, too, he might be interested in a pickup team.

Oh, and I already did sign up, you must have glanced over it, it's on the second page of this thread. Daan and I have played a couple games together, def not a veteran team, but I think we'll be able to clean house nicely

I agree, I think there are quite a few more than one might think at first glance. Part of the objective is to give us all a place to play all at once and help identify the many teams for future games and competitions.

Escalate, really? Are we going for many short-ish games? That would make sense actually. I'd personally avoid escalate because it rewards luck more than other settings. But maybe couples games have different dynamics.

Actually, I could very much argue escalate has been chosen because it actually rewards skill, but its a long conversation.

Not sure when the tourney is going to start, so you may have time, but I wont sign you up just yet.
