Looking through the games I have noticed that TidyG is holding bcr914 hostage in their British Isles game so he is not going to end up on top of the leaderboard. I have decided that this game is already ended and that TidyG gets his point.


This is not the way to play this competition! I look into the games quit often so I will notice if this is happening. I have send TidyG a warning not to do this again.


Next time I notice this kind of behaviour the game point will go to the player taken hostage.

Well, if you are on the top rung of the Leaderboard (as TidyG now is), other players still with a chance of winning the tournament could try to ensure you don't win any more games, by ganging up on you or by ensuring another player wins the game instead. As airwick knows, I have already been the victim of this sort of negative behaviour in my USA game. It could be argued that this sort of behaviour is more likely to lead to a biased tournament result than if TidyG (or anyone else) keeps someone hostage in a game for a bit (in order to stop other players from being too biased against him).
