i was wondering is there a way to find out who ranked you honorable or dishonorable? haven't been here all that long and i have a 33(10) witch if i am correct by saying that means 7 people ranked me dishonorable and 3 honorable i find this hard to beleave i think i only called one player a idiot and told him he had no clue on how to play this game so far.

it would be nice to see who is doing these poor ranks and be able to ask them why if there is no way to tell the system will never work due to there are no checks and balances.

what happened to get you down to 768 diplo with 3 broken treaties, stone? That's a glitch, its only supposed to be 30 for a broken diplo. Should have never gone lower than 910, and now building back up. About the other score, I agree that it is overall meaningless unless you get below 25 or 30. I myself have been hovering around 65-70 since the silly thing was started, and I've NEVER backstabbed anyone or broken a treaty.

I do tend to run my mouth at times, and so I attribute the 68 that I have now at having pissed off 32% of the people who have rated me. Minus the ones that are just sore losers 'cause I kicked their ass, lol.

lol at above posts...i have definately run my mouth off as well... Hey Cardinalsrule, im not sure why my diplomacy is sooo low. I honestly dont think i broke that many. I wont lie i did break some but it was against new players who quite frankly deserved it due to their actions, but again i didnt think it was a large number.

I know the diplomacy doesnt work properly or didnt for a while maybe thats the cause like you say a glitch.

I'm sure a lot of low honor is also a result of people going AWOL in games. I have never given anyone a dishonor for AWOL because I know internet service can be sketchy sometimes and sometimes people just have to leave.

I think it is also mostly a self-reminder of who you need to be wary of because after a while it's hard to remember all the people you have played on the site.

the only time I give dis- for awol is those who bail after they've essentially lost the game. It annoys me to have to wait to finish someone off because they don't have the integrity to lose like a man (or woman, for Robin...)

I have 20(5). I've only broken one truce. I never go awol or insult any players. I'm pretty sure, there's no reason to avoid me I think it's very much about the number of players who rated you.

I'm an "honor philanthropist". As soon as a game starts, I mark every player in the game as Honorable.

It's only fair... it's rare that someone gets recognized for good play, so I figure I'm helping make up for it.

During the match, if a player performs "minor" dishonorable actions, I simply bump them back down to Neutral. Going AWOL, breaking a restrictive treaty, etc.

Since they will simply be auto-Honored by me the next time I run into them again, it basically gives them a second chance at regaining that small honor bonus.

(However, when the occasion arises when I do feel the need to mark someone as Dishonorable, I'm not so philanthropic...)

I haven't broken a single treaty, until last game. It was 4 player game with me and 1 opponent left. I forgot that we had 1 border treaty with him, signed in early game. He was proceeding with reserves and were half way up my as*, until I crossed the certain border.

He even said "hey this is a game, why you start cheating". I understand breaking treaties is a big thing, it is for me. But I think the site would need a fix, that removes any current treaties when it's 4p game and in 1on1 end-game where people pull reserve cards from their sleeves like four-finger-Jack on the poker table.

Just curious to what other people's honor/unhonorable ratio is. I looked in my settings and I have rated 19 people honorable, and only 7 dishonorable. I see a lot of people with ratings around 50, so are there people who rate more dishonorable than honorable out there?
