Hall of Records: Submission Thread

Not a MC record, but in the NCAA college basketball Tournament. A #16 seed finally beat a #1 after 135 tries. They did it by about 20 points to. Miracles do happen.
 
Haha congratz Bilsi but the guy turned to be AWOL at 20:48 and you ended the game at 21:35.

Guess no need explanations to explain this record :p
 
The Hall of records unfortunately does not work atm... The discussion about whether this is a record that merits to be put there can be held another time :-)
 
I'm sure it's a record, but since bilsi spent several turns moving troops onto that tert after his opponent was awol and had 2 troops left, I'm not really convinced that it shouldn't get an asterisk, if it's included at all.

Just now saw this... But yes, I was in the living room front and center of the tv watching that game... And absolutely could not believe what I was watching lol :D
 
I know, wasn't hard to do. I don't deserve a record...
 
I hate to repeat it, but the Hall of Fame has been disabled for over a year now, and we can't edit anythign at the moment. Keep tracks of your records, and I'm sure they'll be recorded as soon as the Hall of Fame can be edited again :-)

Not to be a downer on this, but is it really a record if you started planning for it to break the record in Sep of 2017?

The game had been going on for over a year at that point, and was still a contest. But once you see a goal,why not go for it?

Dragging a game out for an extra 6 months just to break some records is not what the hall of records is about.

I have to agree with that. Just as bilsi's isn't going to be included because he planned and manipulated the game for it, for no reason other than to break a record, this one won't be included either. The Hall of Records isn't for "records" that were manipulated just for inclusion.

This isn't close to any of the records. Not sure exactly what you're talking about?
 
I guess winning a nice chunk by another player's mistake is the cause for happiness. :)
