As promised yesterday, an update has been deployed which limits the number of lines returned for the game record. This limits the amount of history that can be seen, but it solves the browser freezing problem. A more permanent solution will be designed and scheduled for implementation.

not a non-loading issue (i think), maybe i should have started a new thread? or maybe this should go into a general bugs threads - i dont know, feel free to move this.

this isnt a desaster in this https://www.majorcommand.com/beta/40957 game, but odd & could really hurt others: all chat has disappeared, as well as all but half (?!) of my turn from the record tab?

edit: just realised the other game i am playing is affected too. no chat & a reduced record of my last turn (no other turns visible).

Same in my games. Record of last player shows (partly) and all chat disappeared.

The problem has been identified as resulting from the loading of the whole game record when the game is displayed. On long games, this is a fair amount of data that will block the browser

This is being addressed at this precise moment as a 2 step process:

1. A quick fix is being implemented that will return only a portion of the game record. This means that the whole record won't be visible, but it will allow to keep playing the games
2. Afterwards, this feature will be improved upon, so that the record is loaded incrementally from a paged API

A new deployment with a fix for this issue will be done in the next 24h

Ah, I see the problem. This is indeed a consequence of yesterday's deployment. Fortunately it should be easily fixable while still preserving the benefits that were introduced. I'll address it asap.
