1 vs 1 Tourney...Double elimination... Lose 2 and you're out...

i am not sure i fully i understand. but i would suggest just treating the two (at least! could be more..) games needed to have both players go first and have a clear winner as 1 game in the schedule? so it will still be elimination, just multiple games treated as 1 game. hope this makes sense..

I like the idea of the 2 games counting as 1...If both players win who gets tie breaker? Most troops left? I have a schedule ready but need to find a pdf editor so I can enter text on it.

Managing a triple elimination tourney sounds hard. A double round-robin is easier to organize? I see that there are setups to be found online. For me, it is ok if you just decide and that you emphasize that it is manageable to organize. It is also okay if you decide that the advantage of going first should be considered luck. It will even out to some extent when we play a lot of games.

I got schedule from there...Only 2 games, each start one...tiebreaker is most troops left. guaranteed at least 4 games. each 2 game set counts as 1 game.
