Would like to get 16 players...2 leagues of 8...Players are given a number as they join...When we get 16, I'll randomize the order...
Double elimination, lose 2 and you're out...
I'll set up a random schedule...4 games at a time each league....

It'll take me a while to figure out a schedule...

I will have to keep track of who loses 2 then re schedule every turn...

Escalite, Unlimited, Path.....


Division A winner will play Division B winner...
Winner gets Gold, Loser, Silver...

B2 vs A2 for the bronze...

Escalite, Unlimited, Path.....
which map(s)?
i think escalite is often a good choice for 1vs1, but am a bit worried about unlimited reinforcements b/c of 1st turn advantage. but it could also be fun to not have global settings for all the maps, but make them map specific to change things up a bit?

imo the smaller maps generally lend themselves more to 1vs1 so 1st turn advantage is not quite so brutal. personally these are my favs for 1v1:

mesopotamia
classic mini
classic
nukes
12 d
maybe landrush. way to large so often unbalanced in 1vs1 but somehow still fun.

I'll play.
I also second what periwinkle said about nukes, it HAS to be escalate. Anything else is a recipe for stalemate.

how about the 12D is escalate as well...and the rest is escalite? I am assuming 1 anywhere for all maps (except nukes...1 path)? anymore then there will be a first turn advantage especially on those small maps.

oh...i'm in as well!

i was a bit obsessed with 1984 once and for that map i think 1 border escalite is a good setting for 1vs1.. i agree w/ peri nukes should be 1 path
