Just finished a turn, its stalemated. I suggested we AWOL and start another a while ago, but Elmer (reasonably) wanted to play it out more.

Jalthise has expressed that he thinks it's a stalemate. I don't really believe in stalemates, just long games (and I think this one still has some play in it); but if a lot of people don't feel like waiting, I could likely be persuaded to start another as jalthise has suggested, but there's no guarantee it'd be any quicker. 3-player Africa seems like it would usually go long (and we are only to about round 30 or so).

edit: Getting ready to go into round 39 actually. Also, I probably stand to gain the most by abandoning, as I'm losing (but receiving the most reinforcements) AND this is my last stand in GoG; but commands are still occasionally being broken, which is why I don't see it as a stalemate.

In the interests of making the tourney go forward, maybe ask Bado for a ruling, can you play the 3 player game on another map? You're right, 3-player on Africa will almost always be a fairly lengthy game. Maybe a game on mini?
That game you're playing looks to be fairly well clogged up; maybe if you 3 all agree just keep playing it for the fun of it and play another for the tourney?

Actually considering the state of the server at the moment maybe letting the Africa game go on for a while isn't such a bad thing - effectively putting the game of games on hold for a while

Ok here is the deal, this game will go on until the end of Round 50. At the end of Round 50, the player with the most troops will take the region in the game of games. This game can continue on after that with no consequence with the game of games.

Edit: while it may look like BudH may have this in the bag, the more play there is on the board (more attacks) the greater chance that the dice gods may rear their unpredictable head. Put those troops to work!
