"High man, Low man"

Interesting game on the board - notes call it "high man, low man". The idea is a high-ranking player plays dubs with a low-ranking player. All the 'low ranking' spots are filled, how about a few peeps with a 'high' rank jump in?

FORTY-ONE people have viewed this thread, but not one has joined the game. Are ALL the 'high-rank' people around here so afraid of losing a few points that they won't take a chance on a relative noob for ONE game?

That's how I found a lot of my best partners.....

And actually, there's some vets in this game, that have just fallen on a bit of hard times. Actually only one true 'noob' in the game.

I am in! I wasn't one of the 41 to view but I have been so busy lately hard to keep up at times. Hopefully it doesn't backfire because I teamed with a grunt and they tend to go awol on you

i've seen the post, but so far i've played only 3 classic massive in duo and lost them both, the 3d one seems to be taking the same way.

at 1st i joined the game not really sure wether i should be pairing with a low rank or high rank, but left when i realised no high rank was joining.

i'm really not sure i would be helping a low rank by playing with him, still got a lot to learn on classic massive in duo ...

ne4osu, crobs will not go AWOL. He is my son-in-law. He would not hear the end of it if he did and one member of my family complaining to him has got be enough for one man, eh?
We play risk together (with my son) and I've introduced him to MC. He's smart and a good listener. And that's the last help he will get from me on here until I have his scalp )

OKAY, Ladies and germs. Game one of "High man, Low man" has concluded. Another one started. Jump in, high and low ranking people, lets have some fun and hopefully teach the newer folks a trick or two!

If there are enough "high" people to populate it and take turns playing, maybe this should be a recurring game, help the 'noobs' out.

I have taken the liberty of joining your team, Marc. Cards did offer me the opportunity to pay with him again, for which I am grateful. But I had a couple of thoughts: I might learn different things from you and it is perhaps better to share out the wisdom to those of us that are learning so I didn't want to hog Cards time.

I'll join, too, if you need another high man -- though I don't think ObTundersnot learned anything from me the last time (maybe how to lose quickly and hopelessly, if that counts). In fact, it was me who slowed him down.

Still, if the game won't fill up otherwise, I'll join.

Sheriff, can we have a game like this, with the Notes explaining it, pinned to the 'awaiting' section, revolving, the way there used to be some?

I joined up. I didn't team with rob or sebrim because not sure if they are considered low man or high man.

Cardinalsrule you made us all look bad in last game. Hopefully can put up a better fight for you.

Nah, I just got the cards at the right time. The nature of escalate.

And, I would consider those two "high". Any officer would be in that category, I think.

Yes, we can do something.

Not sure exactly what you mean by Notes and Awaiting section.... But we can make a sticky thread, a Dispatch, a sign-up thread? Or something....

Let me know what you had in mind.
