So what's everyone that's of legal (wink) drinking age fancy? I'm a bit of a beer snob, tend toward ales, but I won't say no to a well-made margarita.

A good spicy bloody mary with zing zang mix. I also enjoy margaritas - but I'm partial to watered down beer - aka Bud Lite. It's a result of my college years, and the vast quantity over quality I was taught. I still like it. Also Heinekens are good.

went Vodka tasting at St. George Spirits/Hangar 1 Vodka, here in lovely Alameda, CA. Hangar 1 refers to the fact that their distillery (and tasting room, and bottling works) are all in an old aircraft hangar on our now closed naval air station. If you've ever seen MythBusters you'll know the place - it's where they blow shit up. They make a Kaffir Lime infused vodka that may actually be too easy to drink, but yesterday's surprise winner was the white tea liqueurs.

Any beer with flavor will do - ales and stouts mostly - but if I'm someplace nice I'll take a gibson with Hendricks.

Drinking a lot of Cider at the moment - also like wine of most colours... and am definitely partial to a GnT.

I used to drink some great beer when I was in Vermont. Couldn't throw a dead cat without hitting a brewery. Magic Hat was the mainstay but there were others with hippy style names, Hit the Trail Ale.

I also like ciders, Woodchuck which is from Vermont, and the best cider I had was called K.

great stuff at 8%

Heh, I did a summer filmmaking program in New Haven years and years ago and developed a taste for Magic Hat. It's a touch sweet, but still extremely tasty.

And RJ, I looooove a good Bloody Mary. I have like a 10-ingredient recipe that I only break out for holidays, and it always kills.

anchor, nice - my local brew. I used to drink Anchor Steam regularly but now I find it a bit overhopped.

There's a fantastic gin called 209 made not far from the Anchor brewery, but I wouldn't waste it in 7up. ;)

those things are awesome, don't feel gay. its a shame that all the drinks that actually taste good are deemed for females and all the ass tasting shots are for guys.

Well i just went thru a forced 6 weeks of no drinking, no i wasnt in rehab, been working up in alaska at a "man camp" on the alaskan pipe line at prudhoe bay. No booze allowed. As soon as the stewerdess said she was coming round with drinks, the plane went up for grabs, limited selection, i ordered 2 budweisers, but as soon as we landed in anchorage i found a bar to get my drink on, pints of cold Guinness for me.

Ahhh!, Beer is good!

Guinness is my default drink, particularly now that fall/winter is rolling around. Irish car bombs if it's a hard drinking night with friends.

Sam Adams' seasonal brews are usually great as well. Tried a Blackberry Witbier of theirs as well, was pretty awesome.

Mixed drink...Old Cuban. Strain a mojito out into 1/3 champagne/sparkling wine. Mmm...

I haven't had a beer in over a month. Mostly because its too damn expensive here in Candada and I never have cause to go out and get a $20 6 pack.
