In this game http://www.majorcommand.com/Games/Game.php?gameid=10285 I (coolname) had a diplomatic agreement with hstimer between England and Holland.
Initially the agreement was to end AFTER round 9. In round 8, theycallmesq had taken Holland from hstimer. In round 9, hstimer took Holland back.
So, it is my turn in Round 9 and I decide to attack Hollan from England. Information on whether or not this is a diplomatic breach is conflicting:
[a] Under diplomatic messages it says "04/02/11 09:08:28 The agreement between you and hstimer (England / Holland) is no longer valid." (attacking Holland IS NOT a breach)
The agreements still state (left panel): coolname - hstimer | England - Holland | Ends at the end of this round (attacking Holland IS a breach)
[c] Before I attack I get a pop up: this might hurt your diplomatic score, do you want to proceed (attacking Holland IS a breach)
Anyway, I did attack and got no messages on breach the treaty. So I guess it was ok. The tweak would be to get rid of messages and [c] once a treaty has become no longer valid (see [a]). Now the conflicting information is slightly confusing.
