The below thread probably has a few submissions. Personally, I try and avoid being in such a game, as it means players are not attacking, thus leading to a sllllooooowwww game.

I had 10000 in a 1vs1 12D game but other player was awol. I just hit one tert a turn to see if troop count would hit that high. Can't call it a record though.
