My name is Deputy Major Airwick and I'm putting together a special team, and I need me a bunch of soldiers. A bunch of Majcom soldiers. Now, y'all might've heard rumors about the armada happening soon. Well, we'll be leaving a little earlier. We're gonna be dropped into all kinds of maps. And once we're in enemy territory, as a bushwhackin' guerrilla army, we're gonna be doin' one thing and one thing only... killin' enemies. And our battle plan will be that of an Apache resistance.
We will be cruel to the enemy, and through our cruelty they will know who we are. And they will find the evidence of our cruelty in the disemboweled, dismembered, and disfigured bodies of their brothers we leave behind us. And the enemy won't not be able to help themselves but to imagine the cruelty their brothers endured at our hands, and our boot heels, and the edge of our knives. And the enemy will be sickened by us, and the enemy will talk about us, and the enemy will fear us. And when the enemy closes their eyes at night and they're tortured by their subconscious for the evil they have done, it will be with thoughts of us they are tortured with. Sound good?
But I got a word of warning for all you would-be warriors. When you join my command, you take on debit. A debit you owe me personally. Each and every man under my command owes me one hundred Majcom scalps. And I want my scalps. And all y'all will git me one hundred Majcom scalps, taken from the heads of one hundred dead enemies. Or you will die tryin'!
What is MoM Scalps all about?
- MoM Scalps is a mercenary version of the original Master of Maps
- When you join you will play all 23 available maps
- The player with the most scalps at the end will win the competition
- The 23 maps are randomly divided over 8 rounds. Every week a new round opens up with 3 new maps. In the 8th round 2 new maps will be opened.
- When a new round opens up the games that are opened for this round and against who you are playing can be found in this thread.
- For every game the first player mentioned has to set up the game and invite the others to join. If the game has started please post a link to the game in this thread.
- If a new round opens up you will receive a message in your mailbox so everybody knows it started. Please start up and join the games you are in before the next rounds starts. If you fail to do this you are disqualified for the tournament.
- When round 8 is opened you will have 2 more months to finish all the games. Kills after the deadline will not count for the scoreboard.
- Kills are reported in this thread by naming the map and the person you have scalped.
- Game settings will be the same for every game:
Players: 8
Objective: Mercenary
Teams: Single
Turn Order: Sequential
Reserves: Escalate
Reinforcement Allowance: One
Reinforcement: Anywhere
Force: Chance
Turn Length: 24 hr (casual)
- Diplomacy is allowed in the games. All is fair in love and war, but honorable play is the way to go.
- The buy-in will be 50 points and will be divided as follows:
First place 1000 points
Second place 500 points
Third place 200 points
The winner also receives this ribbon:
With multiple players on 2nd spot the 40% reserved for the number 2 and 3 will be equally divided over the numbers 2.
