The award amount liste don the tournament page is wrong. It says 16 (iirc).

It should be (again, iirc):

1 1st place winner: 121 points
3 2nd place winners: 13 points each

This. The idea is that at the beginning of the tourney, all entrants throw a few points in, which are awarded to the winner (and IIRC the runner-up) at the end of the tourney.

Tourneys can be created by tourney organizers. These can be anyone. right now we are just testing them, but soon we will open it up to anyone who wants to be a TO.

Well, not ANYONE. There will be certain requirements I expect.

Depends on the award structure of the tourney.

Bado's Micro Classic I is a 75,25. That means 1st place gets 75% of the pot and 2nd place gets 25%.

Also, in that tourney, the last game has 4 players in it. This means that there is 1 first place winner, and 3 second place winners. Your "place" is determined by how you finish in the tourney. So if you lose in the final game, you get second place. The 25% price, in this case, will be split between the 3 second place winners.

But the award structure can be (for example)
50,10,10,10,10,10
or simply 100,
or 30,25,25,10,10
or anything that adds up to 100
