And it probably goes without saying but this would probably be a 2015 or beyond thing. The site is more or less broken so there won't be any enhancements until that is addressed.

I think it would be more effective if the other players could see that you were hiding troops but not how many. It would add the dynamic of bluffing as well and be a little more fair then just showing a false number.

The new game engine is slowly but steadily getting done, when it is, FOW will be implemented. Can't wait to play Nukes with FOW.

Fog of war means you only see opponents terts that border yours, the rest are hidden.

I like this too. Something totally different. I will be a newbie.

Yeah, some time ago I proposed to focus on F.O.W Insteed of creating new maps, since actually it would be a new way to play each existinf map, kind of duplicate the amount of maps, whit one twist

ndrm31, I'm so happy to read that. I didn't even think of it as duplicate the amount of maps. Happy you suggested it. Maybe after the new maps, other options is always interesting as a way to approach a new game.

It depends on number of players and the size of the map if the F.O.W really makes difference. Small map and few players...you always border almost all your enemies right away. But big map and plenty of neutrals...then you never know where the big stack of an enemy is located, that would really make a twist to existing map.

I agree with ndrm31 that this should be prioritized over a new maps!

Neither is going to take priority over the new game engine, but FOW should be released with the new engine, and after that more maps will come.

How about make an additional card being a spy card. You could use it to life the FOW for one or two rounds with out the enemy knowing about it.

Interesting twist, I like that idea. On the Nukes map, you can (will be able to) see through the Fog by holding the Satellite tert.

This is a really intriguing line of inquiry, I'm happy to see it getting attention, though I'm right with Cardinalsrule and the dev team that it is not a MVP element by any means in the forthcoming engine.

As far as spit balling ideas go, what do you think about spending a card to reveal FOW areas, the entire map or a portion? FOW resumes the following round, but previous troop numbers revealed remain visible.

I like that even better than my idea, as it has the added bonus, that the other player(s) would know that you did it, and they would have to make adjustments based on that information.
