I have been wanting to make this suggestion for a while now, but was waiting for the Foundry to start up first. But as it turns out my boredom today got the best of me and I just went ahead and pounded out what I had in mind.

It seems to me that the insets do not correspond to their locations as well as they could. I have in the past mis-deployed because of this fact. Here is what I believe to be a much better layout.

I once mis-deployed on this map because I did not realize that the region under the London label was actually Kent.

i also think this could be an improvement! Would make sence to me to put Londen next to londen and cardif in the left bottom.

Also me made mistakes due to this placement.

I would also suggest that the City markers be enlarged by 30% or so. This would show more color, and therefore, also help in clarifying whats what.

If this suggestion is ever adopted, here are a couple of things that you may want to address while you have the map rolled out, as well.

1) Kent is connected to two territs that it should not be. I think it is Square Mile and East End.

2) On my suggestion image, you could switch the Title with the Edinburgh inset. It might look alright with the Title not at the top. If it does look ok then I believe that it works even better with the inset right next to the city.
