After creating over 25 badass of the month tournaments, it’s time to find out who will become the Badass of the YEAR. Players who will join will get to play to become this Ultimate BADASS.
Badass of the year tournament
45 participants - 5 continents-21 maps
ASSASSIN SETTING
How will this work: STRATEGIST LEVEL and above ONLY
It will cost 50 points to participate; you will get 150 points for winning a continent and 1,500 points for winning the tournament. The tournament winner will also get a separate tournament set up as Badass of the year under his/ her name in the tournament page.
Continent America - 3 maps – South America, Tex-Mex and U.S.A, 3 players randomly selected for each map. Winners of each map meet on the North American map to become the American continent winner.
Continent Africa – 3 maps – Mesopotamia, Middle East and Classic Evolved, 3 players randomly selected for each map. Winners of each map meet on the African map to become the African continent winner.
Continent Australia – 3 maps – Philippines, Duck and Cover and Classic Antiquus, 3 players randomly selected for each map. Winners of each map meet on the Australian map to become the Australian continent winner.
Continent Asia – 3 maps – Far East Asia, Middle East and Philippines, 3 players randomly selected for each map. Winners of each map meet on Sea of Japan map to become the Asian continent winner.
Continent Europe – 3 maps – British Isles, Cold War and Balkans, 3 players randomly selected for each map. Winners of each map meet on Europe massive to become the European continent winner.
Winners of each continent (5), meet on Classic Massive for the ultimate prize.
If interested, you will need to put your name in this thread, once we reach 45 players, I will set up the tournament as follow:
The 1st round of this tourney will not be set in the tournament page, but will be set be sending e-mails to participants to create the games as directed, the first of the 3 first names coming out will be the player in charge of setting the game (3 players, assassin, escalate, one, path) and sending invites to the other 2 players (which will be given to him/her by e-mails), so on and so forth. So 15 games will be created and 15 winners will report their wins in the thread.
The 2nd round of this tourney will also be set up the same way, so 5 winners will report their wins in the thread.
The 3rd and final round will be a 5 players game as describe above also set up the same way.
After reaching 45 participants, participants could still register in order to be on a waiting list, so in case of any AWOL in the 1st round, game will be reset and the 1st name from the waiting list will replace the AWOL player.
In case someone registered will not join his/her game (in round 1) after 48 hours, game will be reset and a replacement from the waiting list will take the seat.
Points will not be refund if going AWOL or being a NO SHOW
I will monitor each game, keep up with the updates and post any info related in the following thread: https://www.majorcommand.com/forums/threads/8384-Badass-of-the-YEAR-Match-up-and-Results
and answer any questions you may have.
Good Luck
