i do, however, enjoy the fact that for the most part they got the whole 'vampire' thing down. true classically defined vampires: silver, glam, etc. i'm very picky about how fiction portrays vampires, and im delighted to see an accurate representation.

and cod, it gets a lot more interesting as episodes progress, i can see why you'd want more depth..
but believe me, you get it in spades come season 2.. the first season is really about introducing characters and
giving the viewer a feel for the show, an understanding of it.. as the show moves on to season 2, you really
start to see that each character is more complex then they may of first appeared.
