Zero-Troop Bug​

If you are in a game and there is a territory without any troops on it, then unfortunately your game is doomed.

We have identified the issue that causes a territory to appear without any troops - this happens after a player bombs that territory, mostly in 12-domains.

• Good news is: we have created a fix for this problem!
• Bad news is: this fix only applies to future games, not current games.

If you are currently in a game with a territory with no troops, then I'm sorry, but the only course of actions is to abandon the game and have all players go AWOL.

Fortunately, this is resolved and will not happen again in future games!

Hello!

I posted about this glitch in the Stuck Games thread, but haven't heard back. We won't be able to finish the game as it stands.

In this game:

Something has glitched in the Kos Peninsula. One tert doesn't show a number. The tert directly west of the castle can't attack or be attacked. The dragon was able to attack the furthest west tert, but then armies there cannot attack anywhere else.

Is this something that can be fixed? Or should we abandon the game?

Hi MTH,

We're sorry, but a game that suffers a 'zero-troop bug' (which means there is a territory without any troops on it), unfortunately, cannot be fixed.

We HAVE identified the issue and fixed the bug, but that fix only applies to games that have not started yet (all future games). Any game currently in progress that experiences the bug, is unfortunately doomed.

The best course of action is just to let all the players go AWOL.

Not a problem -- I'd heard of the Zero-Troop Bug, but never experienced it. (I actually pictured something totally different...)

We were able to basically finish the game except for that last tert.

Hi genghis, Yes this is a zero-troop issue. Unfortunately, Westfield is missing troops. This happens the most in 12 Domains because of the many bombardment options. Sorry, but consider it a win for yourself and just go awol. Thanks!

unfortunately we can not delete games. all players need to go awol to make it go away (essentially deleting the game). good luck on your other games

Another Zero-Troop Bug. Looks exactly like bilsi's image above. I can't finish off calumne in Ninfield... Moorgat doesn't have an army counter.
