Whats the general thought on players teaming up in a Singles game?

Why does no one ever bring up the far more subtle and insidious problem of Singling up in Team games?

Clearly you don't play a lot of team games with newbies... lol

I'm still fairly new here. So far, I've only encountered one game where it seemed like there had been pre-game collusion. It was a live game with just three players. One of the players just kept crazily pounding at me at his/her own expense. I kept trying to figure out why on Earth this player would do that and just hand the game over to the third player, who literally was doing nothing but watching the melee and mopping up behind our mess.

At that time, I didn't really realize the whole points structure, etc. When I read up more on that and the clans, etc., I came to the conclusion someone agreed to lose a game in crazy suicide run to help out a buddy.

Otherwise, I don't mind the diplomacy all that much though I tend to not use it much. I've certainly sent messages, especially to another weak opponent, along the lines of: Let's not fortify this common border, and I'll promise to attack the Strong Player if you promise to do so as well. I don't see where that's doing anything wrong. I think agreeing to take a suicide dive before a game even starts is pretty bad sportsmanship and kind of spoils the stew.

Could also be a case of 1 person with ,multiple accounts. This is strictly forbidden. I would put a message into the private support and have the admins investigate.

If it was a mistake, no harm no foul and no ones knows anything about it. If it is a double account, they will be banned most likely.

Thanks. I had pretty well forgotten about it until I read this post. But I'll be more aware next time.
