Is it possible to play public games here without disappointment? I'm about to find out. Public Trust games 1 and 2 now awaiting reliable players. 016636 and 016637.

part of the problem is that we've such a limited number of veteran players (due both to our the site's youth and the membership current cap) that it's hard to stock a game with reliable folk. This is sure to improve.

At the same time, today's cadet is tomorrow's sergeant, if perhaps they play against someone who knows what they're doing. Public games can be frustrating, but they can also be a great deal of fun. Yeah, it's a bit of a dice roll, so to speak, but most of the epic games I've played here have been public games.
