Yes can you be a little more specific on the exact rules?

It's just to play the tourney out. for the purposes of this competition winning the game = one more kill. However, I do have plans for the future that may make it beneficial to play in as many league games as possible. If you like shiny rewards for stuff...

Also, who doesn't want to be in with a chance of winning 512 points!? That's one of the best prizes I've ever given on a tournament - and you have five of them up for grabs!

5 - Play out the games, with the objective being: be the best in class. Each league will have it's own scoring method, but it will be the first round of each tournament that is counted in the tally (unless otherwise stated). Any subsequent rounds will be purely for winning that individual tournament and it's points. Which will not be unsubstantial unto themselves.

So just to see if i get this straight:
-each of the five tourneys stands on its own.
-the titles/banner//buy-in rewards etc are rewarded to the person getting the most kills in round 1 of each tourney
-round 2 is "just" for the normal tourney reward

Excuse me for asking, but I am new and it's my first tourney.

It's alright, I probably didn't make it quite as clear as I could have. This is a bit new to all of us!

You have it right though. What I'll do is add up all the kill counts from all 5 first round matches. The one with the most kills of all wins the banner & the 1200 points.

The 2nd round is just for the normal tourney reward.

I'm not sure of the mechanics - do we need to join the games or will we be placed automatically?

You need to join each tournament. That's it.

Right, just so you know - the last ones in might find there is no space for them.

When you were all signing up I kept a list of all participants but it seems I may have missed one or two. My bad. The tourney would have still had to have been 64 players though.

So the moral is: First come first served!

so now we're waiting for 2 people. Well, 1 in one of the tourneys, 2 in the other 4 (?) Guess someone decided to join only one of them.
I know its a pain, master, but if you can figure out who hasn't joined and message them, we can get this going.

Also, at this point, since we apparently have some slackers, I'd be inclined to forgive Dijibise, not put him on the "hit-list". But that's just me.

Mate.. I've been messaging like a mad man. So far I've sent about 20 messages since making the tournies.. seems some people just don't read their mail. A lot has gone on behind the scenes to even get it as good as it is now (seems I didn't stress enough that everyone needed to join all five).


And yeah, I was just mad at him. He did steal someones place, but like you say - they must not care too much if they haven't joined by now.

I'll take a buy in off him and include him in the comp - he's an equal now.

That's true but it has it reasons because it's unfair to give tripple points to the first kill due some games go much slower then others

Yes escalate would've been better, now it can take a while and risking a stalemate in some games
