It's not all about the size of the round young man, it's how you use it Ever hear of a mini-gun?, that's a .30 cal. you can cut trees down with, up to 6,000 rounds a minute. The size of Bucks gun allows for better heat dissipation, accuracy, etc.

i realize that orbo (i've grown up shooting/maintaining guns), but for a gun that massive to be only a .30 cal surprised me. of course, being somewhat of a redneck, i've had more experience with shotguns and rifles than heavy weaponry.

hahaha nice. there was a guy who used to work for us who was literally a stereotypical redneck. 25+ kids (he wasn't sure they were all his) from 5 or 6 different women, he had "christmas trucks" in his front yard (matching red and green beat up pickup trucks that didn't work), and his favorite activities involved the words "watch this" and gasoline.

It's an oversized . 30 ...the barrel and chamber have been reinforced to handle sustained armor piercing ammo. The upsizing was required to mount this baby on a deuce & 1/2 , a convoy gunner's preferred hardware shy of a .50 cal. Ma Deuces were not that easy to get your hands on, so this thing was the next best.
