I can start a game but my invited friends cannot join.

I try to start a real-time game. My friends that are invited can find the game via the link with the game number, but the join button does not respond. What is wrong here?

I do not see any games awaiting in your profile.

Are your friends members?

Make sure everyone has signed up for an account, then create another game and invite them using their usernames.

Also, they will need to enable Flash in order to be able to use the join button.

Flash is enabled in various browsers thru the settings. Here are the instructions for Chrome.
