Is it possible to play on my cell phone? Anything other than 24 hour games available? I'm from strategy game network, which is closing, and looking for new site to play risk. Thanks for any info.

Welcome to MajorCommand. Currently you can only play on desktop, though some diehards do try to use a mobile browser, but it's not a very good experience imo.
We have 24 hour games, and real-time games, which take about 20-40 minutes to complete.
The website works pretty well most the time but sometimes it can get buggy. But a rewrite is underway and testing for the new code has started. So by the time you get familiar with the site, there will already be improvements.
Try it out and have fun! And tell other players at Strategy Gaming Network to come over and have fun!

You can use your phone, using other browsers, like Photon, but it's iffy.

If you're keen to play on mobile I would recommend puffin browser.

you can plane on mobile with puffin browser but I've made some terrible errors taking turns on the small screen!
