I'd be curious to play a couple games with 'serpentine' turns, just to try it out. It theoretically evens out the 1st person mover advantage, but I have no idea how it would play out here. I can sort of envision it in a 1v1. First player moves, and from then on out each player gets a double move. Now, in a much larger game it could also be interesting. People in the middle of rotation will have little difference in how their turns play; but man those folks on the end are vulnerable for a long time.

Only way to make fantasy football drafts fair, but I wonder what it would be like here.

Or even more chaotic, what if the turn order were shuffled at the end of each round. Trippy. :vollkommenauf:

The randm order just adds anotehr layer of luck to teh mix and peopel already complain there is too much.
A serpentine idea works for FF because it allows a person with the first pick to get the "best" player at a sacrifice for a much later second pick.
In a turn based game back to back turns can really ruin the play and create huge advantages.

yeah.. double turns would be pretty out of control. pretty easy to secure a large command with just 1's then receive the bonus on the 2nd turn.

WE can only do so much to make 1v1 fair. any players best bet is to develop a good 2nd turn strategy.
