Confusion on USA Map

I noticed both Massachusetts and Maine are abbreviated as "MA" on the USA map. The correct abbreviation of Massachusetts should be "MA" and Maine should be abbreviated as "ME". This is especially important because if I get the "MA" card, and I hold both states, how would I know which of the two will be getting the bonus reinforcements?

I guess no one has gotten around to fixing it. As far as the name on the cards...I am not sure, but since "Maine" isn't that long of a name, is it printed in its entirety on the cards?
