Just started playing the conflict africa game. I'm not sure if I'm missing something, but I'm on my first turn, got 3 troops, and i can't do anything with them...I can't deploy, or even skip my turn.

Sorry, that game was created by accident and should be deleted. Conflict Africa is still an in-progress map and not ready for live play yet.

i thought that centcom status meant users couldn't see the map.

They can join but not start games on the map.
