updating screen

why is it that every 10 secs or so my screen goes to a black screen that says Major Command is updating then when it returns to the game screen i have to initiate my attack again this keeps repeating interminably its especially annoying during long attacks numerous units vs numerous units. also can something be done to shorten the attack results box? this keeps scrolling down with every attack until it covers the whole screen, then the black update screen pops up again.

Yeah, it was your 580 round game! That game was so big it kept crashing the new game rewind feature that I just released. I stayed up until 3 am trying to stabilize the website to stop the flashing!

Actually, in all fairness, it wasn't the game per se, it was the code. A game your size only exposed some poorly written database queries that created huge temp files and ate up all the disk space. So I had to quickly rewrite those queries and deploy them to stop the crashing/flashing. So in a way, I'm grateful that you guys went 580 rounds. I just wish it wasn't at 3 am my time.

Anyway, I think the issue is resolved now. Let me know if you something like that happened again.
