I've just been browsing for games to join, and had a random thought that some kind of icon may make it easier to identify game settings, than the text description...

So for singles/doubles/trips/quads, you could use something similar to these:

3player.jpg
4player.jpg


For Sequential/Campaign:
polyfocus_circle_arrows_1.png
fullexpand.gif


For Flat Rate/Escalite/Escalating
safe_image.php
CurveLinear.png
CurveExponentialIn.png


etc, etc.

(obviously the icons would need to be much much smaller, and not just nicked from other sites ;) )
