North America map

Wondering why USA South on this map is +3 for the continent bonus, but it's only 3 terts large? SW is +4 and 4 terts in size.

As a comparison, NE is +1 but is 3 terts in size, and SE is +4 but 7 in size.

Not saying this is wrong or anything, but I was a bit surprised when I noticed that.
