Greetings clan members ! Made it thru surgery, was a brutal one. Got home from the hospital on Christmas Eve day, and then we got hit with 12 inches of snow with temps in the teens ( Fahrenheit ), so we are huddles around the pellet stove. Recovery will be slow ( 3 months ) but I'm stubborn enough to do that. Happy New Year to all...after 2020 & 2021 we could use a new year that ain't overrun by covid crappola !
 
Glad you are home - and hope you got out of shovelling!
 
Shoveling out of the question for at least 2 months, major abdominal surgery....but thanx for the kind words !

New info = now upgraded to " pureed / soft food " diet...wonder if that includes margaritas ?

OK, people, news to report = Had several appts in Seattle on the 9th, now have a new diet upgrade, got to eat PIZZA that night...yay ! On March 10th will have the supposedly LAST bit of surgery, procedure to implant a " chord shim " made of rubber to my left chord. That will require an overnighter in the hospital, but after that I should have NO MORE SURGERIES ! That means that as long as the cancer has been completely removed ( docs say it has ) I have WON this battle ! Never doubt a stubborn assed Marine ! Now I can concentrate on being a major pain to the enemies of our clan... so let it be written, so let it be done !
