May 2026 Update - May the 4th be with you!​

In celebration of the holy star wars trilogy, we're offering a holy update trilogy of our own!

For this month of May, we plan on knocking out 3 new releases.

First (A new hope):

Coming this week - Deferred Troops will be optional! You can choose whether you want deferred troops in your games or not.




Second (AWOL strikes back):

Shortly after deferred troops, will be AWOL in the settings. If you missed the discussions, the create-a-game page will have options similar to this:

• AWOL Classic : the current tiered AWOL rules that are in use now
• AWOL Return-to-Base (YES/NO) : Do you allows players to return from AWOL
• AWOL missed-turns (1, 2, 3, or 4): How many turns can a player miss before going AWOL (applies the same to all players in the game)
• AWOL Hardcore : No missed turns allowed. Players are permanently removed after their first missed turn

Thirdly (Surrender to the jedi):

Not long after AWOL, still in May, we will be releasing the final in the trilogy, the SURRENDER button!

• This one needs no explanation. Push button, go surrender. That's all.

If you click the SURRENDER button, then you have effectively resigned from the game. The remaining players are free to mop up your corpse. End of story.

So that's our May rollout plan. I hope you enjoy it. And I hope the empire doesn't get in our way and alters the deal!

Okay. More feature were released today. There is an ADVANCED section on the game creation page. Just click on the bar to open it.



And we have a new game state. It's called "OUT"



If "Return-to-Base" is set to "No". Then once you are AWOL, you are OUT OF THE GAME and cannot return.

What happens to your cards when you surrender? Are they lost, or can another player get them if s/he eliminates the last of the surrendered player's forces on the board?

If you eliminate a player who has surrendered, you get their cards.

A player who has surrendered follows the same rules as any player who still has troops, whether they are active, awol, or surrendered. You get their cards, and if it's mercenary, you get their points too.
