map status?

not trying to be pushy, just curious

I know that several months ago there were a couple of maps, Africa and the Middle East, that seemed like they were close to release. What happened to them?

sometimes we develop a map that requires new rules. Before the map can go live the rules need to be written and glitch-free, and in the case of the maps you mention we haven't achieved the glitch-free condition. Until somewhat recently, fixing the glitches was lower priority than some other development needs, so I hope there will be movement on these maps soon.

Meanwhile, we've been cranking out a map month lately - not enough for you, cards?

and, I'm certainly not complaining about the new maps, and I love being invited to be a tester, but I just wondered. Since I played that one game on the Middle East map on dev, I thought that it was pretty much ready to go, and I was thinking about that. I don't remember any serious glitches, but maybe I'm wrong. And I saw the Africa map one time, although I didn't play on it. So I wondered.

I love all the new maps, as I said, but I guess it just made me hungry for more.

patience. They will come when they come. If we tell you, it wouldn't be as "EXCITING" when any map comes out, would it?

Hey Cards, we are indeed shooting for a map per month and we were going along at that pace quite nicely... folks just got a bit busy in March. However, we will catch up this month. I'm fairly confident that there will be an announcement and some unveilings this week.

well... this is a matter of perspective. Shepherd has sheeps to deal with tenderly,, and that's where his characteristics come from . My students need to be top notch - and I get cranky very quickly!
