[UPDATE} I decided to try creating a new game and !! YES !! >> Practice: No Points << is now an option !!! I must have missed the News Flash. I'll be starting a couple of ' just for the fun of it ' Practice: No Points ' games.

I think this is an awesome idea. I'd like to see more of these.

Is this an option that any player can create? or is this a created by request only option? - or ???

I'd like to see some of these games for some of the maps with ** an auto-invite ** sent to ** every new player ** when they sign up to MC with game links or a Forum page to shop the menu of a list of still open PnP games to join.

Invite new recruits to play and learn 'hands on' how the map's play flows - without feeling smashed points-wise <!> play as you learn and learn as you play <!> FREE

The upside is that players who have been around a while could help mentor new recruits without the more experienced player getting broken point wise for helping.

A win-win - less new player drop out and more games to enjoy while getting acquainted with more players - a Win-Win for All!

How does it work or doesn't work to set up games as **' Practice: No Points ' games **

I set up 4 more games as PnP's yet they are not showing in my awaiting games list as ' Practice: No Points ' games ??? Does that only kick in when a 2nd player joins?

Today I set up two more games and the PnP seems to be working fine so far for these 2 new games

I'm wondering about some kind of hub/thread/whatever to coordinate players that would like to learn more maps with players willing to play 1v1 practice games with them. It would also help them get to know people in the community. I don't think new players are generally active in the forum though, so not sure how to make it accessible and fun. It's only half an idea but imagining a list of maps, players requesting practice games on them, and "teachers" that would then start the games and do a little get-acquainted coaching. My ulterior motive here is more players feeling confident to play on a variety of maps they might run across in tournaments (including me, just saying...1984!)
