Manifest Destiny- "the 19th century American belief that the United States was destined to expand across the continent and settle the west."

So my idea is a map of westward expansion. Have the cities in the east serve as bonuses or a command and cities in california and other western states also as bonuses. Then in the middle have the trails (such as the oregon trail, and union pacific railroad) serve as connections of east to west
have territories along the trails and rail lines which loose 1 troop per turn due to "conditions" but have zones similar to the drop zones in conflict africa along the way as well that can represent trading posts that will auto-deploy 1 a turn
overall I was thinking of giving the map an old weathered map look and having the trails as dotted lines and maybe some icons of the west located on the map such as devils rock and the rockies

you read my mind... about a year ago i wanted to create a whole series of manifest destiny maps - westward expansion, Mexican-American war, Spanish-American war, etc. I'd support any kind of work that promoted the theme.
