Hey everybody!

I just played my first game of Risk this week and now I'm totally addicted. Signed up at MajCom (obviously), and just purchased the board game. I do have a question. Is it frowned upon to send private messages to players to form alliances and discuss strategy, or should all of that be done in the Chatter?

Hey, welcome!

You should always use the in game options to discuss in game issues. If you want to send private messages in a game, you can use the diplomacy tab. Other players will get a message that you've send 'a message', but they can't see the content. Using other means of communication (the chatroom, private messages or e-mail f.e.) is considered cheating.

I didn't realize that you could send private messages through the Diplomacy tab. Thanks for letting me know! I've got some big plans for South America...
