I'm guessing most of us have played D&D at some time, sought treasure underground with a party of adventurers, mapping our progress as we went...

So how about a dungeon map? A complex labyrinth of inter-connected caves, chambers, passages etc.

I'm thinking autodecays at the lava pool, the acid flow, the torture chamber, autodeploys at the fungus farms, the Goblin's nest , the Orc pits, the treasure chamber and so on... One way borders like maybe a chimney-slide from an upper level to a lower, secret passages and I don't know what else...

Have you done a rough sketch of this? Just so we can visualize a bit.

Game play sounds fun and could also be a great visual map.

I have high hopes with any future maps from you, (no pressure) i think it is fair to say that your first map it is a very popular map.

Also the game has bean played on Community, The Big Bang Theory, and Freaks and Geeks. So people will know what the game is with out playing it.

I never actually played the board game. Used to love the cartoon though.

Would really like to see this map develop

This is probably the best idea I've ever seen in the Map Studios.

I imagine that instead of territories been divided among the players at the start of the game, each player would have a starting position and have to set off adventuring (conquering) through the map. Sort of like in the 12 Domains. The 12 Domains is my favourite map on this site, but I feel like this would overtake it.

I think the game is usually played with paper pencils and the human mind.

I have never played however, I see one problem with the game idea. I do not think we currently have the starting positions feature. IT could be done by coding everything (except the starting blocks or places or whatever) as neutrals like the 12 domains but I do not know if that would suffice for a D&D game board. My knowledge is rather shallow in this area
