Do points count for the ranking in Beta games?

Hello all,
as I just read it in a comment:
do points count for the ranking at the moment? Is there an official notification to it?
And if so, when are points going to count again? Will current games not be counted at all, or only if we terminate them at a certain point in future?

Points do NOT count at the moment. I believe when they do....the current games will be erased and all created new games will start to count. Im sure there will be a memo/update that will tell us. For now...points do NOT count.
