clicking user name in forums breaks forum

clicking on a user name in the forum index screen ends up like this.

works fine when you are in the thread tho.

i brought this to evan's attention previously. i believe it is in the queue of things to be handled.

I thought this only happened with center-clicking (which is still a bug of course, just wanna make sure I know about everything). Did you left-click a name somewhere and get this screen? If so, where?

I'm not being argumentative. I just need some more info. I'm confused.

You right-clicked?

When I right-click, I get a browser-generated drop-down menu with options like "open link in a new window" and "open link in a new tab". It does not open any page (unless of course I choose one of those options. In which case, its does indeed open the bad page you have referenced).

When I click someone's name (left-click) I get a little popup with the options "View Profile" and "View Forum Posts"

There is absolutely a bug with center-clicking and with right-clicking and then choosing one of the "open" options. But "just clicking on someones name" poses no problem for me. I just wanna make sure Im not missing something

What that video does not show e is which button you're clicking. Above you said "right-click" which totally throws me off.

It's when you open the profile in a new tab.

oh right. kinda confused me because this page (http://www.majorcommand.com/forums/forums/29-Bugs-and-Fixes) actually has two places where there are names. One works, the other doesn't.

i believe you may still be confused. in that link you gave, every name links to the vb member page, not the mc page. the only place where this is not the case is in the ajax menu brought up by left clicking the users name. however, if you bypass the ajax/dont have javascript enabled, it will take you to the vb member page.
