I casually (in no way whiningly) mentioned to Brian that his impending win against me would be my 18th consecutive defeat. He didn't believe me, and asked for a screenshot.

Voila.

For therapy, I might post a quick list of reasons for each loss.

OK, now I believe you lol This reminded me of a thread by Once, who posted a similar pic.

As a real-timer playing 1v1 and a bit of 4p, even when I got good, I remember a couple of loss streaks around 20 games.

The way I look at it, given enough games played, long losing streaks are an eventuality. Statistically speaking, let's say the odds such a streak are 1 in 1,000. In that case, we'd actually expect to see a streak like this every thousand games or so, and NOT seeing such a streak would be the outlier.

The real trick will be how long can you keep the losing streak going? Myself and others can offer a few tips on losing strategies if you want to set the record!

listing the causes of defeats would make for a very dull, narcissistic post. All sorts of reasons, of course. Guess I'll win a game at some point!

Losing is fun! I wish I could say I've had as much fun as Clark, but I've unfortunately won twice in between 20 losses, bookended by this festival of dreams.
