Avatar problem

Trying to upload a new avatar. Made it in photoshop. Exactly 100 x 100 and saved as a .psd file

But it won't upload, I click save, and I just get the default MC avatar. Am I doing something wrong??

Never mind, I saved it as a jpg, it works fine now
