Wow, so there is a game mode that can be broken by 24p.. It'd be a good idea to put a block on 24p domains games being created.

I guess it could work with two players in each starting region, two hops away from the castle.

Interesting concept, John. It'd require some additional coding of the game, but it would make for a rather different game than what we see now, essentially 12 battles to the death for the castles to start the game.

I think in practice there would be too big a 'first mover advantage' in each region - and the tactical logic would be to keep deploying and not attacking neutral too soon, probably...
